The anti-inflammatory role of mesenchymal stem cells transplants in myocardial infarction.

This study investigates the anti-inflammatory properties of MSC transplantation in rat models of myocardial infarction, and suggests that the anti-inflammation role of transplanted MSCs might partly account for the cardiac protective effect in ischemic heart disease.
